Time To Clean Your Jacket?

You've come to the right place.

To maintain your garment, be mindful while washing and drying. In general, denim is not washed very often in order to preserve the look and quality.

    Avoid Frequent Washing

Frequent washing not only causes potential shrinkage and fading, but also causes a negative impact on the environment. Reducing your wash from every 2 to 10 wears can offset your carbon footprint by over 80%

    Small Stains

For small stains we recommend spot cleaning instead of washing the entire jacket. Using mild soap and a clean toothbrush or damp cloth, gently scrub the stained area in a circular motion. We find it helpful to constantly rinse your brush or cloth, so you don't end up spreading or re-staining it.

    Cold Wash

Swap to your denim panel prior to washing. This ensures your jacket's and denim panel's color matches.

Hand washing your denim is the best option to retain it's quality. Alternatively, you may also use a washer at the delicate setting.

In either scenario, make sure to use cold water, to avoid shrinking.

Art panels rarely need a full wash, but if needed the same rules apply: Wash cold and delicately.

    Air-Dry

Always air-dry, to avoid shrinking. Not only is this more environmentally friendly, it's also better for your denim.

    Say No To Heat

Avoid excessive heat, such as from irons, steamers, & dryers. Especially around the SwapWear™️, you may end up doing more damage than good.
